I. What Is the Difference Between Cold Patch Repair and Thermal Vulcanization? Cold Repair Is Mere Bonding, While High-Temperature Vulcanization Integrates Rubber Matrices

Tires are originally formed through high-temperature and high-pressure vulcanization during manufacturing. Rubber molecules crosslink into an integrated structure, endowing tires with toughness, air tightness and deformation resistance.

1. Cold patch films: They only stick to the inner tire wall via adhesive with no molecular combination between two layers of rubber, simply acting as an attached patch.
